Unitree Robotics (legal name: Hangzhou Yushu Technology Co., Ltd. / 杭州宇树科技有限公司) is a world-renowned robotics company headquartered in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China. Founded in May 2016 by Wang Xingxing, Unitree is the world's first company to publicly retail high-performance quadruped robots, and holds approximately 70% of global quadruped robot unit sales.

Unitree designs, manufactures, and sells consumer-grade and industrial-grade legged robots, humanoid robots, six-axis robotic arms, dexterous hands, and 4D LiDAR perception systems. The company fully self-researches all core components — motors, reducers, controllers, LiDAR, and motion control algorithms — giving it an integrated supply chain unmatched in the industry.

Unitree has been profitable every year since 2020. In 2025, CEO Wang Xingxing announced annual revenue exceeding 1 billion yuan (~$140 million) at the Summer Davos Forum in Tianjin. The company shipped over 23,700 quadruped robots in 2024 and 5,500+ humanoid robots in 2025.

Unitree has appeared on CCTV Spring Festival Gala (2021, 2025, 2026), the 2022 Winter Olympics Opening Ceremony, the 2023 Super Bowl pre-game show, and the 2023 Asian Games in Hangzhou. In 2025, Unitree won four gold medals at the inaugural World Humanoid Robot Games in Beijing. The company is targeting a $7 billion IPO on Shanghai's STAR Market in 2026, with Wang Xingxing controlling ~34.76% of equity.

Unitree has filed 200+ patent applications (180+ authorized) and has built an open-source developer ecosystem at github.com/unitreerobotics. Its Unifolm platform publishes open-source world-model-action (WMA) and VLA architectures for embodied AI research.
