About Unitree H1

The Unitree H1 is a full-size humanoid robot developed by Unitree Robotics, designed for high-performance locomotion and advanced robotics research. Standing at approximately 1.8 meters tall and weighing around 47 kilograms, it is built for dynamic, real-world environments.

The robot features a robust architecture with around 19+ degrees of freedom focused on lower-body mobility and balance. Its high-torque actuators enable powerful movements, including running, jumping, and maintaining stability under disturbances.

Unitree H1 is capable of reaching speeds up to approximately 3.3 meters per second, making it one of the fastest humanoid robots available. It supports dynamic walking, stair climbing, and terrain adaptation.

The perception system includes depth cameras, IMU sensors, and optional LiDAR, allowing environmental awareness and autonomous navigation. Combined with onboard AI computing, the robot supports reinforcement learning, motion planning, and real-time control.

Powered by a high-capacity lithium battery, the H1 provides around 1–2 hours of operation. It supports ROS/ROS2 along with Python and C++ SDKs, making it suitable for research, simulation, and AI-driven robotics development.
